|
|
As you may be aware, the Special (needs) Olympics are being held in Leicester this July.
In the events are cycle races actually being run in the City – so high profile.
The local cyclists have been asked to help out in their running and this email is to ask YOU if you can help, please.
If you can help, please contact Andy Salkeld direct - contact details below.
Any or all of these times / dates. It is likely that racing will finish earlier than we have scheduled here on most days.
10am to 2pm Saturday 25th
10am to 5pm Monday 27th
10am to 5pm Tueday 28th
10am to 5pm Wednesday 29th
10am to 5pm Thursday 30th
10am to 2pm Friday 31st.
It will be very helpful if anyone from the club with experience of timing and / or lead race official experience is available.
As the riders all have Special Needs - It's most important to have a caring attitude than lots and lots of experience. We have other volunteers to support - I just need someone who can manage race organisation better than I can.
